The Journey Calls...

My husband Kraig and I have resided in breathtaking La Jolla, CA for 3 years now in the most gorgeous home over looking the ocean. We have been blessed with the most amazing friends and experiences! But now, we are on our way out the door, once again, for new adventures, creations and destinations.
We will both be traveling for 3 months, separately--Kraig in Phoenix on business and me in Dallas and India for yoga sadhana--until we meet up in Thailand in Dec. for 2 1/2 weeks. After that we are 80% sure we're headed to Austin, TX for a few years. My oldest brother is expecting a baby in 6-7 months... the first grandchild in our family... (I'm so excited!!) and I'm ready to be back East again (SC/NC area). Austin may be a stepping stone for us. We plan to purchase a few rental properties as investments, but our main focus is something totally new...
We're launching a new yoga system (Trikaya, which is Sanskrit for trinity- the root of all 3-fold metaphysical symbolism) that will include international retreats and big productions/events... educational and creational... where we bring together musicians, artists, speakers, authors, and leaders to deliver an experience for (eventually) thousands of people. Our yoga experience, called Trikaya, will be the icing on the cake at these events. It includes the asanas (postures), a wild, ecstatic dance portion to live music, breathing practices (pranayama), meditation, and chanting (simple OM's for several minutes). And throughout this whole practice, participants are learning and practicing tools and techniques for Intentional Creation; so in a sense, they're using their yoga practice as a laboratory for creating the experiences, circumstances and desires they have always envisioned for themselves.
Already, we have hosted a few small-scale events. They were intense, to say the least, and very successful. The feedback we received was phenomenal. We had one of the events filmed, and will be using clips of it in a promo video that is being edited now.
People are really drawn to this experience and find themselves wanting more because it's so liberating to let go of all inhibition that way, and to open themselves to grander and greater possibilities. It pushes them outside of their comfort zone, but they LOVE it. And the concepts that they are invited to explore, they just sink right in with people because, innately, they already know them to be true... and they slowly move away from playing helpless victim, and they begin to claim their power as conscious, deliberate creator.
We have big plans for this one... a product line that includes music compilations, Yoga DVD's, books, jewelry, and organic clothing. We plan to do events, workshops, and retreats all over the world. I've never flat out followed my bliss this way (my passions, my intuitions) and it's been an amazing ride already. We are both very enthusiastic about the way things will unfold.
As for Kraig, he's a coach now for about 4,500 small- or home-based business owners who enrolled in a program via On Stage Marketing (an independent marketing education company) that would enable them to get into profit ethically and masterfully, as they learn the art and science of marketing. This is also a very mindful skill that must be sharpened.
Kraig has consistently progressed at a rate you wouldn't believe. A few months ago, he was one of those 4,500 students; had been for a year. Until the owners asked him to step up and become the only other educator (besides them) in the program. His strengths have finally surfaced because he, too, found his bliss and his spotlight. It was a huge honor for him and he gets so much satisfaction out of truly helping people OWN their lives and control their financial well being. He has helped so many people to thrive! He had the biggest month of his life THIS MONTH. Our bank account is healthy and happy as a result of our intentions and actions.
He left this morning to go on a climbing/camping trip with his buddies... the last one before we leave San Diego in two weeks. I am so proud of Kraig, so grateful for all of our experiences, and yet completely certain that the better it gets... the better it gets! We love San Diego and all the friends we've made here. It's been wild watching things blossom synchronistically every step of the way... but I know it will continue that way wherever we go.
Who knows? Maybe we will find ourselves back here in a few years. But for now, the journey calls... (o: Soon, we'll travel to see far-away countries and all the beautiful places of the world.
