Back in the Saddle

It's been awhile... I know. I'm back in the states. Moved into and remodeled a new place in Carlsbad, CA right around the corner from the Chopra Center. You're due the pics from our amazing trip to Thailand where we went deep water soloing (climbing without ropes over the ocean blue!) and enjoyed the delicacies and the peacefulness of the islands. Stay tuned for those shots. They should be posted by this weekend - 3/9/07.
Trikaya's message and system continue to solidify as we prepare for production of the first DVD and Intentional Creation Journal/Workbook. Life is unfolding magically. I'm so blessed to have an amazing team of people to support and strengthen my purpose and intentions.
That being said...
I just got finished reading out of THE AMAZING POWER OF DELIBERATE INTENT, an Abraham-Hicks book, while on the elliptical. Here’s the summary of what I learned (re-remembered).
If we keep seeing and acknowledging things as they "are" with thoughts of confirmation such as “well that’s just the reality” or “that’s just the way it is” or even “I just don’t trust that person” (like we ALL have in the past) then we are keeping ourselves there. We are aligning ourselves to keep creating more of that same perspective. As we focus on it and BELIEVE it to be real and true (and representative of our life experience), then of course those beliefs draw more of those same experiences to us (and at ever increasing speeds) - like attracts like. It’s okay to OBSERVE what’s happening/our situation, but then we’re in CHOICE POINT – we must CHOOSE and ACT – rather than just react unconsciously.
When something feels bad – i.e. we get the clenching, resisting feeling in our stomach or chest, it’s just an indication (part of our “emotional guidance system”) letting us know that our current thoughts or beliefs are OUT OF SYNC with our desires and our Source of Well Being – our true identity and the resource to our highest potential. It is giving us a signal (much like GPS when we take a wrong turn) that BEEP BEEP BEEP, we’re off the path to our true desires. So the resistance isn’t a bad thing, it’s just an indication. And it’s always accurate – it’s there to bring us back on track ASAP. But we must pay attention.
Instead of the old (victimization) pattern: OBSERVE – JUDGE – REACT
We must try (the Creator’s alternative): OBSERVE – CHOOSE – ACT (in alignment with who/what/where we want to be)
Our feelings just let us know the relativity of where we are vs. where we desire to be. They are a map; they help us to find our way to a place of more ease, joy, abundance and creative productivity.
So if we use our perspective of our “present reality” (which you could also call variety and contrast - which we can OBSERVE and therefore use as helpful examples of what we DO and DO NOT want to create more of in our lives) …and we just SURVEY the contrast… and use it as a tool, to help us see how our current reality/situation/beliefs (BTW, beliefs are just thoughts that we think repeatedly for a period of time) may be out of alignment with what we truly desire, then we can begin to reach for a thought that is more compatible with our desire.
Example #1:
DESIRE – I want a loving, supportive, joyful relationship with my husband.
+
BELIEF – I don’t trust my husband, and our relationship is all too often a struggle. I don’t know what I have to do to make it better.
=
DISHARMONY.
(The law of attraction will undoubtedly and faithfully deliver… you guessed it… a relationship lacking in trust and full of struggle and confusion.)
Example #2, a better option:
DESIRE – I want a loving, supportive, joyful relationship with my husband.
+
BELIEF – My husband and I are improving daily, and I have more and more interest in listening to him and offering encouragement.
=
A LITTLE MORE HARMONY.
Example #3, an even better option:
DESIRE – I want a loving, supportive, joyful relationship with my husband.
+
BELIEF – My husband and I both do our best everyday to have fun together; to really listen, play, and uplift each other.
=
EVEN MORE HARMONY.
(And you can keep going for a higher and higher thought. The better it gets, the better it gets!)
Until our current beliefs (repeated thoughts) are compatible with our desires (and we will know when they are because we will feel good… we will not feel the resistance or the blockage of source energy flowing through us and to us), we will not be able to manifest those desires (i.e. that perfect relationship, more clarity, more ease in life, better communication, the perfect house/schedule, more abundance, etc.)
And on a final note, this isn’t about “denying” our current experiences. It’s about reaching for a thought (a higher vibration) that feels just a little bit better than the last one (that didn’t feel so good). This is NOT about pretending that we believe something that we don’t. But the more we consciously CHOOSE lighter, more joyful thoughts (the second we realize, via our emotional guidance system, that we are out of alignment) the more the law of attraction makes it easier and easier for us to access (and believe) better and better thoughts… until, eventually we believe in (meaning we repeatedly think those thoughts) and create/manifest a new reality, one that IS in line with our purest desires and our highest potential. And we will know we’re there when the relativity of where we are and where we want to be LINE UP… they're one and the same... and our emotions confirm this.. We will feel joyful, happy, and free!

Nice to hear your voice/blog again. Glad your trip was wonderful and plans are moving forward for your successful venture! While you were gone, “The Secret” a movie made in conjunction with the Hicks/Abraham, about the Law of Attraction, has been taking the media by storm after two very successful episodes of “Oprah”. Unfortunately there is now a rift between the filmmaker and the Hicks and they have been excised from the new version of the movie, but you might find it interesting nonetheless since it is all about the Law of Attraction. I found the production a bit melodramatic, but it's a good tool for reminding myself of this too-easily-forgotten truth.

Yeah, I kinda heard bits and pieces of that same story, vaguely–with the Hicks and those in the movie. Thanks for the info. I'll have a look at the pod.
BTW I agree with your take on the SECRET. It might've had some kinks in it, but overall the fact that this kind of message is getting exposure on OPRAH…with that many eyes watching… that's awesome. I watched the show, it was great. And I think they did a good job keeping things more “real”.

I really like how you talked about our EGS. ITs so damn true, whether its right or wrong its so friggin accurate!!! but there is so often interference. but what is the interference that manipulates what we see/hear/feel?… is it all those damn absolutes!?

that is the key! to “just survey”(with as little interference as possible) I just completed a “johari window box” for a class im taking. Its a guided project to help one become aware of their current situation. But it seems like a double edge blade. Inorder to drain out some of that ambiguous interference, i needed to created labels(absolutes?). I have been becoming closed to created labels for myself. but by surveying and attaching a label i was able to SURVEY my current “beliefs” so i could illustrate what i need to work on…. (like my fear or labeling fears)

Hey there stranger. I know, juicy good stuff, eh? So right on. That's my daily dose right now, “Abe” literature… and Robin Sharma's leadership books. Do you know his work “THE MONK WHO SOLD HIS FERRARI”?… and the sequels and add-ons to that? It's sooo good. Great way to set your focus and intention for the day… to conscious choose in every moment to live your biggest and most authentic life.
